21. Grateful
for Miserable People
After group I
took a call for The Other Ken. Before
the caller realized he had the wrong Ken, I learned he hated his job, and didn’t
much care for rehabs. He wanted me to
know he ‘knew people’ - whatever that meant. I felt bad The Other Ken would
have to deal with him, but be grateful I didn’t. I made a list of miserable people who were
unlikely to ever cross my path.
Today I will be
grateful for all the miserable people I don’t have to deal with.
