About Me

Kenneth MontroseM.A., CADC

Director of Publications and Training

I started my career as an outpatient therapist for Northern-Southwest Communities (now part of the Mercy Health System) in 1986. I worked at WPIC for eight years, designing programs for people coping with chronic/persistent mental illness and addiction. In 1999, I became Greenbriar's Clinical Director, relinquishing that role to become Director of Training and Publications in 2002. For the past eight years I have been busy writing books and workbooks for mentally ill, substance abusing clients, and providing trainings for addiction counselors, nurses, EAPs, and social workers. Greenbriar allows me the flexibility to write the kind of workbooks I think my fellow addicts will understand and enjoy - a little quirky, slightly irreverent, but to the point.
