“Are they
gonna get a divorce?” Tiffany asked, drawing her knees up into her chest.
“Not today,”
Devin said. “Not any time soon.”
“But they
might.”
“Listen
Villain, suppose you make yourself miserable today because of something that
might happen a year from now. If they never get divorced, you’ve suffered for what
you only thought might happen. That’s like paying a parking ticket you never
got before you could even drive.”
