“Why do you love me so much?” Dr. Deb asked when she called. I had made a run to the bakery to get her favorite muffin before leaving for work.

“You’re cute,” I said.

She laughed. “I’m cute? That’s it? Cute?”

“You’re really, really, cute.”

“Oh, you can do better than that, Mr. Writer Man.”

So I did. I made sure she knew in great detail  why I loved her. 

Today I will make sure the people I love know why.
