Time Off
The next day was a Friday. I took it off, giving myself a
long weekend to celebrate my sobriety anniversary. Most years I planned to do
so, but didn’t. That year I decided to practice what I so often preached,
taking a little time for myself, time to stop and smell the coffee.
Today I’ll take some time for myself.
